Belt Measuring Information

Measure a belt from the outer tip of the buckle to the most used hole to determine the BELT SIZE. Pants size plus 2 inches will also equal the belt size. To accomodate for the leather, you should STITCH 5 inches LESS THAN THIS. For canvases with a design centered at the mid-point, divide the 5 inches in half and STITCH 2-1/2 inches LESS ON EACH END. Don't put initials within 4 inches of the end of your stitching because they will be cut off!

Two rows will be turned under on both top and bottom edges. Be sure you have stitched enough to accomodate for this: you may need to stitch 2 additional rows if the design comes too close to the painted edge or the belt is too narrow. Stitch additional rows in the design color(s) if possible, or in the background color(s).

Slide Buckle Belt Finishing

You must stitch 6 inches MORE than your belt size (see above for determining this measurement). Leather can be dyed any color you like. Indicate gold or silver buckle. Allow up to 3 months for finishing. Cost: Please call or email us for prices.
