Welcome to Continental Stitch! We are a retail store with a full line of cross stitch, knitting, and needlepoint designs and supplies. The shop first opened in 1978. At that time I, (Shirley Todd, proprietor), myself was a customer, then became a partner, and now am sole owner. I am supported by a wonderful staff of 2 talented women, Patty & Carol. We know how joyful needlework can be and hope that we can bring some of that joy to you. Our store is located in Morgan Hill, California, just 20 minutes south of San Jose, it's easy to come visit us with Highway 101 access. Be sure and check out our MAP! Don't worry! We are happy to do mail orders for those of you out of the area.

We offer classes and workshops at a variety of times to accomodate all of our customers. These include beginning and advanced knitting, cross stitch for beginners and specialty classes in linen. Crochet, rug hooking, needlepoint and other specialized classes are available upon request. We offer a variety of times to try to accomodate all of our customers. If you do not see one you are looking for we can order from any of the major distributors; ie, Hoffman, L.C. Kramer, Gay Bowles and others.

Our specialty fabrics are available on the bolt so we can cut a strip to the size you need. We also have a full line of Krenik metallics, Sampler Threads, Weeks Dye Works, Overdyed Floss, Flower threads and much more. We also have in stock all the new DMC colors and the DMC Metallic Floss.

Custom framing is available, along with many of the suggested designer specialty frames. If one you would like is not in stock, we will be happy to order it for you.

Many of the designers patterns call for embellishments, beads and frames to go with their designs. We make it easy for you by kitting all your treasures together.
