Chain Stitch
(Tambour Stitch, Point de Chainette)
Made up of a series of single stitches worked in the "sewing" method.
To begin, bring needle back to front at 1, reinsert at 1, forming a loop.
Bring the needle up at 2 inside the looped thread.
2 is now the beginning point for the next stitch.
To end, catch one fiber to the left of the last stitch. May also be worked vertically and diagonally.
